These are some of my favourite pieces to have come out over the last year and these versions look amazing. Wonderwall's KFGU series has been well recieved and Japanese vinyl is soooo nice. First up is the LATDA set featuring green/silver Flatwoods and Mothman "mommy and daddy type", limited to 36 sets and available from the museum store. Dang! Liking the green and silver that's going on there. Plus the "Beyond Ultraman" show that's going on at LATDA with Baseman, Biskup, Horvath and Sun Min looks like it will be killer. Double dang! All for a $5 entry fee. Next the "sun min type" Mothman and Flatwoods, in a slightly more translucent vinyl....I think this might be my favourite Flatty to date (tied with the Japan Museum blue/silver). No word on numbers for this or a firm release date, but probably pretty soon. Must have that Flatwoods!
Ha ha....this made me laugh this morning "Topo Joe" - a collab between DGPH and Ningyoushi interpreting Ning's Lil Joe figure. This is due out next week to conincide with DGPH's USA Mole Ride tour when it stops off at Double Punch on October 6th.
Speaking of Ning...anyone else hanker after the days when they had the greatest discussion board where we could all marvel at Johnny's collection? That dude had some serious stuff man! a room of cabinets, BAPE tables etc.

Coming soon and looking hot! Back views below:

I really like the idea of a big plush labbit but maybe the orifice is a step too far... Owners of this new 24" plush Labbit by Kozik and Switcheroo might want to ensure they keep their dogs away from it!
So it seems that Mimoco are the latest compant to follow in the footsteps of Toy2r and have produced these HALO mimobots in collab with Xbox. Personally they arn't my bag. I love the designer ones, but these don't do it for me in design or cross over terms. Hats off to mimoco for trying to make some cash though :)
Why indeed Adidas.
Yeah that's right, the anniversary of a club that no longer exists and is now poncey "executive apartments" is being celebrated in a new collab with Adidas to mark the opening of the first Y-3 store. How very depressing that a club built on enthusiasm for new music, the innovative music of Joy Division/New Order and the genius of Peter Saville's design is being celebrated by such as piece of piss poor opportunism. It's a sad state of affairs alright and tells you all you need to know about the imagination of Adidas. £350 for a pair of grey Adidas running shoes? Still, at least they come in a natty lil box in the shape of the Hac's dance floor, eh. And all this only a few weeks after Tony Wilson died.

Toblerone: Good Fruit and Nut: Passable, but Whole Nut or just a Dairy Milk always wins Toblerone Fruit and Nut: Wrong is every single way

Thoughts on this? Very different from Nathan J's usual style - although the legs kinda give the game away - but I really like the colours on this. Kinda reminds me of an Aztec god. Available from Super 7 during it's Halloween Monster Mash on October 6. Produced by Bigshot Toyworks

Holy crap, how did anyone miss this on the Amos blog.......I will sell my available organs to get hold of that giant Evil Martin! Look at that beauty. One of my favourite ever vinyl pieces supersized by Giorgio Camuffo for an exhibition in Venice in 2003. Wonder if he ever get around to doing Bubba?

Saw these over on the Amos Toys blog and thought i'd share with the rest of the class. Nice work as usual for the Jarvis, who incidentally went to Dublin to run a half marathon and came 7th with a time of 1hr 14 mins!!!

Further to Mazzle's Pigqee...it seems quite popular right now with Touma's latest PeeGee. This pic os from David Ishii's Wonderwall blog. Not really liking any of these colours, bar the mono/grey, but the sculpt looks interesting and I like the sleepy eye variant.
Ok so i am known to be not very observant, but when did this slip under my radar? A Toy2r pig 8" blank? WTF? Someone please explain this to me...

New tees available from Shawnimal for the bargainous price of $20 plus postage... nice shade of brown for the boys and cranberry for the ladeez. Nice simple design of a classic character, printed on AA tees.

Shame it's a US-only listing on eBay but my god would you look at that painting. I needs badly. *looks up every US-based friend to paypal the cash* All proceeds going to the Vinyl Toy Network to help secure their future and put on yet more great shows.

God TV really sucks at the moment....so yesterday I watched some comedy genius on DVD. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon recovering from the night (no pun intended) before.

These seem to have got a bit lost in the whole Transformers/Nike hype, and I never quite understood the whole lions into a giant robot thing, but these trainers rock!
So, anyone who knows me, knows that i am a huge huge Pete Fowler fan, infact Qee and Pete are what started my collection! So i can't wait for the release of the next mega fowler piece Van Orlax. He stands at about 20" tall and will be available in two colourways (this one, and a brown haired one) I am sure one will be an exclusive, but at the moment i am not sure who for. Due for release in November.
Also due for release soon from Playbeast are the pets and owners monsterism series.. yey!! And we do think that pets and owners look alike (as Kirsty once told a woman in a bar in NY.. how we didn't get shot I’ll never know ;) I love them (of course)!!!

A little stroll around the KR forums led me to these pics of some fantastic new designs from Junko Mizuno. Seems they are expanding the clothing line to include more gender specific items, my wallet will not thank them as I'm sure Teese will want at least one of these!

Well we all knew it was coming since that Medicom show a few months back but now we actually get to see it!! Would love to be able to add it to my collection but it just ain't gonna happen :( Going on sale at Original-Fake on the 29th and presume Kawsone will have some to go around. Maybe dpmhi in London if we're lucky to see any on these shores.
So i have just finished watching the latest toybreak, and a mighty fine episode it is too!! I have been a bit slack at reminding people about downloading this... SO GO NOW!! It nice so see Mr Cabello has also taken residents on the back of the couch... yey!!

Oooohhhh.....coming soon and only $20 the iconic Gama Go Deathbot makes the transition to 3D with this lovely wooden version. pic unashamedly stolen from someone else who did all the scanning work.
After a long, long, loooooooong wait. The London Police have FINALLY made a new website!!! And thats all i really have to say about it. Check it out www.thelondonpolice.com
We have decided to make a few changes to how our subscription works.... We used to offer our subscriptions as 6 issues but as we have found that publishing 6 in a year is proving difficult, we have decided to reduce it to 4 issues. Rather than subscribing for a year you now subscribe to 4 issues.
This also means is it more affordable than ever to get a subscription so what are you waiting for? Subscribe now and get your next issue of clutter on your door step before anyone else! New prices are as Follows:
UK:: £17 EUROPE:: £21 REST OF THE WORLD:: £26 (Including all postage costs)
If you have an existing subscription or have recently subscribed, your subscription will still last for 6 issues. When subscriptions are due for renewal an email reminder will be send out to you, at that point the new prices and terms will kick in!

Ahoy! Today be international talk like a pirate day, me hearties! Ooooohhhh Arrrrrrrr! Soo come sail the seven seas and let’s plunder us some rum and women folk!

Seems the red version has fallen by the wayside for now, but fear not it's been replaced by a blue one. I think I like this slightly more muted version to the red one. Available soon, retailing for the usual Nedzed price.

Woo yeah new Jarvis stuff always goes down a treat in my house. First time I saw Yodzine I was a bit "WTF?!" but the character has grown on me now and is probably the purest interpretation on the classic Potato Head. The teaser pics have looked awesome and now we have this - the first official pic of the 6 initial colourways. Each is limited to 200 pieces, apart from the Black which is 140. Hmmm...limited indeed. The Jarvis fan in me is screaming "buy them all" but Captain Sensible is going to take over and ensure I only get 2 maximum. Now I just have to think which 2! I'm guessing Maz will go for the Pink...
Ok so there i was flicking through More magazine (yes it is classy!!) and blow me down what do i see, but more toys making into mass marketing campaigns!! Ok so this one kind came from left of field too and really made me laugh because it’s an advert for Tampax!! You have to love the fact they have used TinPo, JunPo, and Tokidoki to highlight the brand. Am i the only one who doesn't get the connection? I mean do toys use Tampax, or are the advertisers trying to say here these Tampax are soo beautifully designed they should be displayed on your shelves alongside your Designer art toys?? I hate to think what the bear is about to do next with it though ;)
I had a chat to Leah at Unkl about it and apparently permission for the image use was given about 2 years ago so it is legit, but they hadn't seen any use of them until now. However rather than using product shots they seem to have used 3D renders which look well dodgy, same goes for tokidoki too. Apparently Playskewl was also approached to do some customs, but the turn around was too tight. Mind you i don't think his style exactly fits with the cutesy image they wanted. What makes me laugh even more is that this ad is aimed at school aged girls. Take a look at the web address on the ad!
Hmm i can see a whole range of new product, TinPo tampax holders... (shame that unkl don't own that one anymore!)
I think I’ll email Tampax and try to get some kind of marketing strategy out of them! What i do know is that the 'photoshoot' was by a Dutch Photographer.
TOO CUTE TO BOTHER YOU!.....
Yey as promised Clutter 11 arrived in our office today! Hurrah. We are very very pleased with this issue, it's hot (even though we do say so ourselves, lol)!!! So if your a subscriber then you will be receiving your issue in the next few days! YEY!!

Everyone's doing one huh? Giclee, lithograph whatever way you spin it, it's a print. But I think we may have reached a new level here with the upcoming Micallef show in London's Lazarides Gallery. He's got 4, yep count 'em, 4 new lithos coming out, limited to 400 each and priced at...............£1,175 each. Yep over a grand for a single print. Fuck me sideways even Obey doesn't try pulling that shit. Originals for £20k I totally understand cos it's a one off...but 1/400 for over £1k. Oh sorry, yeah and they're signed...bloody better be done in blood considering how he's bleeding fans dry. Don't get me wrong now, Micallef is a brilliant, brilliant artist well deserving of the awards and hype. I freakin' love his work. But I can't help but feel a movement that started so firmly rooted in anti-capitalist sentiment has now been eaten by the cultural machine. Yeah destory the evil machinations of cultural imperialism by breaking down the traditional constructs of laissez faire economics.....oh, can I have my enourmous cheque now?

Ecko clothing isn't for everybody, usually I wouldn't give it a second look, but would you just look at that Boba Fett hoodie!
